My wife wants to ride. What about the S40?

I rode for the first time last summer..took the safety course. Started on a Rebel 250 and started riding my son's Kawasaki 650..my husband made me try a Boulevard 2006 C50T and I fell in love with it. I am only 5' 3" and it feels very comfortable. I realize that I still need a lot of practice...

Turn a Classic into a classic

yep, Adjure lights. Shop around ebay for them. They make black dot as well if the local constabulary were to take issue with the blue. The headlight has a dome so the blue doesn't light up, unlike the spots. Check out these babies Caddy style lights and Caddy style w/blue dots Not sure...

    World Super Bike!

I hope they don't penalize the Ducati's. Did you see how fast the Honda was on the straights, it blew everyone away by a big margin. The Duc still looks down on top speed compared to the other bikes, but judging by Biaggi and Bayliss (with two different riding styles), the Duc was very fast in...

Hard Choice 14" or 16" apes for bagger

Hey all- These small decisions are where I struggle. I have previously had wild1 bars on my old RK. They were beach bars so they are the complete opposite that I am looking for with apes. I like the look of apes on a RK but not quite convinced about the looks on a FLHT. I however dont like...

    neck bearing zerk?

already have one and in fact it is all i have. Still huge pain with the fixed fairing and lowers in the way. It took an entire large tube of red tacky to fill the head tube. Bike is brand new (only 400 miles and I did not want to run it without a good greasing lol.

Whats next loudest pipe after Reinhart slip ons?

If all you want is 'LOUD', then True Dual Head Pipes and Rush Mufflers with 2" - 2 1/2" baffles will get you there!! Be prepared for some loss of low end torque though. I had 2", they were too loud for me...went back to 1 3/4" baffles..much more sane!!

Does it really matter how I turn off the bike?

I worked for a dealer and we were starting to see issues with a few bikes that was determined the overuse of the kill switch by Harley tech services. The kill switch puts your system in cold boot mode, like when you are operating your computer and pull the plug. The system has to go thru...

5000 mile oil change - doing it myself

A disposable baking sheet works to catch any oil that misses the pan. You need an oil filter wrench to fit the smaller bike filter. One that attaches to a socket/ratchet works well. Funnel is good too. You save even more on the bike by doing it yourself. The dealers want $75 - $80.

    Selling Verizon phones

You'll probably have to activate them first, then you can sell them. However, you'll still be paying for the service. I assume you have other phones you would activate on the other line(s).
