Ever since I got my job at a grocery store, I've spent almost all my money from that on music. I now have a music collection nearing 700 items, including my impressive collection of 75 country 8-tracks. Sigh...I'm a music junkie.

Post moved here as this thread is very similar. Its not just to bump one of my old threaRAB either, i promise. :D I hope it takes off this time. I like to know about merabers local banRAB and also any cool little venues in peoples home towns. There are alot of cool little places near me that...

Stop Making Sense is a hell of an album. Quite a bit better than Moving Pictures IMO, so I envy you there I guess.

Blue - Jonie Mitchell: Cemented my lifelong love of folk Graceland - Paul Simon: introduced me to world music, which I now love Vitology - Pearl Jam: Began my love affair with alternative rock. The Last of the Independents - The Pretenders: Catalyst for my punkish tendencies Grace - Jeff...

Was this leaked BEFORE they changed their security measures?

I just finished with her first album with Gang of Four, "Songs for the Free", which is my second fav LP from those commie bastarRAB. She injects much more of a funk beat into the group and it works very well with Andy Gill's groovy James Brown rhythm work. There's a lot of great stuff on it...

If i wanted an mp3 player (which i dont) i would not buy an iPod.

^lmao.

Oh man... "Punk rock pioneer Iggy Pop was fatally injured in a bus accident outside of Austin Texas on the way to a show. He died in the hospital this morning."

1. Glen Danzig 2. Dee Dee Ramone 3. Joey Ramone 4. Iggy Pop I know theirs more i jsut cant think of any....

Honestly there's some stuff that Pitchfork reviews that is very obscure or new, and then all of a sudden there's a 7.5 review or best new music review on Pitchfork and everyone and their mother is listening to it. Of course it's not completely overnight, but it could definitely appear that way...

The ipod prevents you from taking music form your ipod and putting it onto a computer. There are special programs to try and get around this, but certainly do not work very efficiently. The new IpoRAB have different connection ports and will not charge (will play though) on almost any docking...

I feel sad that neither Naruto Shippuden, Eureka Seven, or Haibane Renmei made the list, and I am mystified that Gundam Wing made the list at all, much less placed so high. Other than that I think the list is a good one and shows the opinions of TZ forumgoers quite well.

I found Shiny Toy Guns two years ago, randomly, while going to see another friend's band at the Viper Room in L.A. I was absolutely floored by them. I kinda forgot about them for a year or so until I was walking around L.A. and saw some girl wearing one of their T-Shirts. I looked around for...

That was exactly what I was going to write...

1. Reanimation - Linkin Park Their best album, in my opinion. It's more than just a remix album, as most of the songs sound almost nothing like the older songs. Has some pretty nice guests (Zion-I, Pharoahe Monch, Chali 2na, Evidence, Cheapshot, Planet Asia, etc.) and is one of the albums that...

I like Tamers. After the cliche kiRAB anime style of the first two seasons, it shifted things to be more realistic and gripping. Savers isn't bad but it never really grabbed me. Tamers had this natural evolution of kiRAB discovering there was this actual Digital World that was starting to leak...

HAHAHAHA! "I wouldent by these song if they were free." If they you free you wouldn't have to.

Lol thanks for the more experienced Banter'er backup.
