i took the mini SD card out and put it into a card reader using the SD adaptor. expanded the files and copied them to the card on my computer. put the card back into the phone and it installed automatically. btw, i'm on a Mac. all the hidden folders are visible.

well, one, three, and four can all be done easily with third party apps. The last can be done out of the box, kinda. If you set up the contacts you dont want to ring in a group, you can specify under the profiles editing what groups ring and which ones dont.
