I don't think rabroad is as musically ignorant as you assume we are. You should refer to the top 100 list in the original post, those songs were radio hits as well. Hating radio and MTV has become so fashionable. To generalize an entire broadcast system or an entire website seems a bit naive...

Hi guys I am from South Africa and we don't have a large rock culture here, You hardly hear it on the radio, and clubs don't play it or just play the "safe" classics: Gun 'n Roses, ADCD, Queen etc..... i kid you not, Avril Lavigne is considered rock here, I dont consider myself a hard rocker...

Because it's one of the only things that is mine. I can choose to listen to whatever I want, whenever I want. It's awesome.

You won't really find band's like that because music should try to be original or different and stand out from the crowd. if you can't seem to find any current banRAB then try a different genre and educate yourself. there is so much good music out there. You just have to look.

My god. Indigo Girls are one of the worst banRAB of all time. They are most definitely overrated.

Honestly! The Queens of the Stone Age bore the crap out of me, and I hear very little about them. From what I can tell, they have garnered a very commendable amount of respect and a very solid fan base but one of the best banRAB of the 00's is REALLY pushing it.

Thing is, he never said the vocals sucked. He said he didn't like them. There's a big difference. There are many talented singers I can't stand, and many ****ty ones I enjoy. Whether it's punk or any other genre...it's all about whether it pleases your ear or not. I don't particularly care for...
