Wirelessly posted (LG VX8100: SAMSUNG-SGH-T629R/T629UVFL2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 NetFront/3.2) while i do agree with what you are saying to a degree you must also think that there is still a large market for simple phones that just make and recieve calls. Although phone...

Princess Bubblegum and Lady the Rainicorn from Adventure Time. The series has only started, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Finn, Jake and Marceline will probably emerge as the favorite characters on this show. But I've always liked Bubblegum and Lady since the original short...

Scar (Lion King) Johnny 2x4 (Ed Edd n Eddy) Him (Powerpuff girls) GIR (Invader Zim) Sheen (Jimmy Neutron) Evil Ron (Kim Possible) Mr. Krabs (although I do think that the newer episodes focus on way him too much) Doga (Pucca) Angelica Pickles (Rugrats) Vegeta (DBZ)

That's not true, Sketch. (You are Sketch, right?) The original cartoon was more FUN. It has the same light-hearted repetitiveness that the first season of Pokemon had. The old toon is just mindless fun where you can watch a couple eps just for the absurdness of it. The 2k3 series is of course...

As a classic animation buff, I have to correct you on that. Neither studio produced their cartoons STRICTLY for kids. The people who worked on the cartoons made them primarily for themselves. Of course, these cartoons were originally released in theaters accompanying feature films (including...

Well before them we had Foster's Home, Fairly Odd Parents, Billy and Mandy, Avatar and freakin' Spongebob. It's not like we've been tortured since 1999. I never really have cared for Phineas & Ferb, and I haven't even seen Flapjack yet.

So I finally got around to watching this on 4Kids's website. Overall, I liked it, especially the scene where the Turtles meet their Mirage counterparts. The whole look to that scene was very cool, with its B&W comic book style and of course, the grittier, growly portrayals of the original...

Cartoon Brew has images of the characters! The lead character kind of scares me.

Forgot about a little film called Persepolis, have we? It has 100% on the Tomatometer, won the Jury Prize at Cannes, and France is already submitting it for the Best Foreign Film Oscar. The comic it's based on is great and the author is co-directing it. It has an interesting true story about...

LOL at the ending. And that's why he didn't get the spin-off.

So, Meg is still hanging out with Adam West? I knew that Quagmire wasn't going to give Brian a ride, but I was suprised he rear-ended him.

"Unsults; insults disguised as complimets." Moe's parents on the portrait, interesting. Evil chuckling ftw. Homer doesn't know Principal Skinner? Did the writers do that on purpose?

Like Scythemantis said above, this is an 'apples and oranges' debate which is as tired as an old rocking chair hound dog. The Simpsons and Family Guy have nothing in common other than both being animated Fox sitcoms about families, and it's not like they're the only 2 family sitcoms, animated...

(Yells out a string of curses) Just when I finally have a reason to wake up early on a Sat.s again. To quote the Simpsons' Comic book Guy: "There is no emoticon for what I'm feeling."

Was out of jimmy's head bad? I never got to see much of it (I sorta lost basic cable...)

Whoever writes up these summaries for TV Guide, Zap 2 it, etc really should learn how to spell since the series subtitle clearly says it's M'arrillian. That's one of the big reasons I always come up with my own summaries when I do talkbacks. At least they're back to the A-Plot this week. Release...

Giusi wrote: I don't think I can find sorrel locally, but I'll take a look; stranger things have happened. In the past I've made spring pea soup with lettuce and mint at Easter, and last year I made a very nice minestrone. Because of my rut-avoiding behavior, I won't be making either of...
