I liked the first episode. That said, it did start off fairly slow. The first 2/3 weren't engrossing at all. I really enjoyed the last 1/3, once things got moving a bit. The first episode was a nice introduction to the setting and characters. I'll continue watching this anime, for the time...

Believe it or not, on their first demo, they are actuallly pretty cool. Actually, a lot of Chris Barnes' pre-cc stuff is really great. Leviathan... some other stuff I can't think of right now.
