Films you watched on a first date

Saving Private Ryan. Wasn't officially a 'date' though. We had chatted online and decided to meet in person and we were both film fans so went to the cinema. Possibly not the most romantic choice of a film (although we did go and see Titanic 3 days later). And 7 years later we are married...

Solaris - don't waste your money!

Got to agree. We hired it the other night and it started then finished and nothing happend in-between. Another one that had all the ingredients for a good film was 'About Schmidt'. Golden Globe and Oscar nominations, reviews on the back of the rental (by creditable reviewers) saying it was...

Sequels that haven't been made or shouldn't have been made

I'd love to see a sequel to Dirty Dancing :o I know they did have one but I'd prefer to see one with the original characters.

How Clean is Your House with Kim & Aggie

I never believed the houses were as bad as they appeared - I think they sent someone in to make them worse before filming.

    X-Men 3

Matthew Vaughn has said that he hasn't spoken to Halle Berry yet about returning as Storm in X3 although he does hope that will happen. Halle Berry has already said that she has been frustrated about her limited role in the X1 and X2. "The only thing about Storm that was better in 'X2' than...

Bless, he has definitely still got it! Seems to have been around forever (or maybe that's just my age:o) Christian Slater = Heathers & Pump up the Volume, then disappeared for me I'm afraid. And I like Rumblefish MF, worth a watch!

    Cinema's with multiple screens

This is easy, i used to do it all the time on sundays with my frienRAB, we would pay for the 12pm movie and come out of the cinema at 8pm having watched about 4-5 films, i did it for years with frienRAB and never got caught. its really good and the whole 'could we get caught' feeling makes it...

    Potc 2

Loved it! Plain old fashioned entertainment. It was great to see the darker side of it too - after all, these people are pirates! Great mixture of comedy, adventure, action and horror. Wonderful characters too. The length of the film wasn't a problem at all when you are enjoying watching it...
