Well, the reason I dislike One Piece has nothing to do with it's filler or it's planning or implementation so I can't really speak for against the filler in One Piece, I'm only speaking in general terms from things I liked in thier first draft but liked oh so much more with the filler cut out.

It's always bad directing to blame. They pick the VA's, and tell them how to voice the characters from scratch. A lot of FUNI's dubs benefit from their directors actually voicing the project itself (I.E. Ouran High School with Cait Glass).

I think they have good guitarists and thats all that really matters in a metal band. The singer will grow on you in time.
