Well I'd argue part of the problem is the shift in DVD distribution on our end. Clearly people (myself included) got tired of buying singles, especially when box sets were bound to come out eventually. In addition to that, it certainly doesn't help when fans buy into singles and then companies...

Personally I like it when a series enRAB leaving me wanting more (Cowboy Bebop or Elfin Lied). If it goes too long I get bored and look forward to it finishing (Kenshin series). Black Lagoon IMO went just long enough, so if they make another series I hope it still stays as good.

That last sentence is the most important for me. I just like to have something to look at when I'm listening to the album for the first time. I prefer vinyl because of the sound, and the experience as a whole, but I have my fair share of CRAB as well.
