I have a classic solo close on my 2009 RG. Have put around 3,000 miles on it. No contact problems under the seat. Not sure if it being a close version makes any difference.

granted the majority of the bike crowd attending the sturgis rally ride harleys, but the low lifers dont really attend any more, it has become way too expensive for them. an average hotel room will run you 200.00 a night during the rally. enough said about that, but the riding in the black hills...

Jamie, I have a 2010 FLHX and I intend to revert to dual muffler headers for purely aesthetic reasons. I had planned to get a set of take-off OEM headers from a 2009 model for this purpose and add a PCV. Since the PCV uses the O2 sensor eliminators anyway, why could I not use the 2009 headers...
