I think I want to collect Baccano eventually. I have really enjoyed what I saw so far. It's got an unusual narrative, a lot of colorful characters...lots of fun. Besides that, you know, I don't know what DVD's I'll be buying for the next 2-3 months yet. If any, in fact, because once summer hits...

Actually Semisonic had a few hits. for example, FNT and Never You Mind Probably being in movie soundtracks helped.

Mindles Self Indulgence - Never Wanted To Dance I absolutely hate this band, and this song is so durab, yet it manages to be a very fun song which makes it passable.

The best all-woman band of the early 90s win, despite april08's vote being scratched from the record due to them not knowing who Gang of Four are. New battle! Pavement - Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain (1994) vs. Guided By Voices - Bee Thousand(1994)

Hmm no they are quite hit and miss, Mothers Milk, BSSM, TUMPP and Freakey Styley are all good but other than that no and they aren't really HoF material. PS Flea most overrated Bassist ever? he's good but not the best how he's in so many top tens I don't know.

see, I can convince myself that air drums suck... I can actually start doing it and look around to make sure nobody else saw me. Air guitar, I'll be looking around in hopes that somebody saw me... unless I'm at work, that never looks good.

I'd say Waits has some of the greatest genuinely depressing music ever. I SAID WE ALL GONNA BE-E-E DIRT IN THE GROUND

I believe the word you are looking for there is 'decade'. And if I wanted to listen to singing groups i'd rather go to the 60s & 70s, seeing that's where most of those 90s banRAB got their material from.

I would get angry but you listen to System of a Down so I think I'm pretty safe in my superiority.

Canadian Idol winner Melissa O'Neil maybe? The song is called "Let It Go".

Everyone should also check out Tom Tom Club. Its 2/3 of Talking heaRAB (david byrne being the odd one out) they are one of my favorite banRAB. Definitely has more of a bouncy urban flavor than talking heaRAB did. I'm sure everyone has heard their song Genius of Love. Its one of the most sampled...

How is Revolver pretentious? I mean it's basically the original power pop album and was completely original for its time and has held up quite well. Thanks for the welcome MJ. This looks like a quality forum and I'm glad to be a part of it.
