Well stop obscuring your argument then. Look at the title of your thread , thats a pretty bold statement. We've given you examples of banRAB who were doing the same sort of thing long before The Who ever did , which you just discount because those banRAB 'were not popular'. So what exactly is...

Sigh. For the last time, Elie IS a likeable female character. You seem convinced that she isn't because of how she's written in a crappy dub. I mean really, you're losing a heck of alot of credit as an anime fan here if you honestly think a dub written by Bob frickin' Buchholz is the accurate...

right. but when you take an acoustic based audioslave song then drop a distorted RATM riff for the bridge in order to stick in a trademark morello solo does it still sound like a natural fit?

Well I have sheet music that begs to differ. I forget what the lowest and highest notes he can sing are, but it is clearly nearly 4 octaves. And that's just with him singing as an artist (DT/solo/Ayreon, etc); I've heard he can sing much higher and lower when he wanted to back in the day...

Well, she did write The Host which is more of an adult sci-fi book (I read it and thought it was much more well written than Twilight). After that success, I'd be surprised if she doesn't write more.

Dear god I just wish they'd stop. They've been absolute torture to the ears for years now, and it's pathetic watching them cling for dear life to whatever dregs of fame are still leftover from their overhyped carreer in the last few years. Just give it up already.

Um. It's about 2 in the afternoon and I'm living off of adrenaline and my brain isn't completed thawed from this morning's headache. I still have no idea as to what you mean by how a band should sound. I feel like such a nincompoop right now. And I just fell in love with the word amiguous. In...

Who 'attacked' anything or anyone?

Yeah, the debut's fantastic, and as if his work with the Small Faces wasn't enough, it's another example of why Steve Marriot's one of the more overlooked talents in rock history. Not heard the live album myself, but I know Smokin's meant to be pretty spectacular too. Funnily enough, it's an...

Metal isn`t evil , It`s just something to pass the time until you get proper taste in music.

Everything in bold applys to these guys.

I think Death Metal is a lot of fun. These lyrics from Entorabed's "Full of Hell" always crack me up. I've got a 24-lane highway going straight thru my head a peace of mind like a brainstorm and thoughts that knocks me dead I've got sympathy for the devil and demon is in my vein I'm organized...

Actually, they never wanted to classified as anything except for just rock. They might come off as a goth metal band, but that's not their aim. Therefore, they are not 'wannabe gothic metal.' I think that Evanescence is a pretty good band, actually. I don't care what they look like or how...

"From The Bottom Of My Heart", "The Beautiful Side Of Somewhere", and "Nearly Beloved" are other good ones to check out.

Well I was wondering If you could find them on limeiwre or anything?

I am liking your list, sir. A LOT! There are about 5 that I don't know and a couple I don't listen to, but the ones I like are excellent.

I'm glad someone finally made a thread about all of the projects of Claypool. I'm a fan of everything off of Prawn Song RecorRAB...with the exception of Gabby La La. I haven't really listened to enough of her stuff to have a good perception of the music. I just ordered LCFB's Purple Onion...
