    Celebrities doing cartoon voice overs

Heck, you can even go back to 1951 with Alice in Wonderland - actors Ed Wynn and Jerry Colonna provided the voices of the Mad Hatter and the March Hare, respectively. It's certainly not a new trend, no, but it seems to be more prominent now than ever before.

Toon Zone Talkback - KaboingTV Launches on March 11, 2011

I thought that this episode was a step up from the last one. I actually had a few good laughs from this, compared to the 1-2 I had in the last one, and the animation seemed to improved in this episode as well.

When and why were cartoons as labeled as just for kids

In the UK it was shown on terrestrial TV in prime time, which is pretty rare for cartoons that were originally targeted towards kids (The Tick and Rocko's Modern Life are the only other examples I can think of)

Apple iPhone 4 (Retina Display) vs SAMSUNG Captivate (Super AMOLED)

Interestingly, a Pentile display should be called "retina" based more than simple high resolution screens should, since it actually takes into account how the retina sees color, with less resolution needed for red, and less green required. For the natural objects that our eyes evolved to look...

    Why do people hate Scrappy?

Because in the late sixties not only there was a big fuss over violence in Saturday morning cartoons, ratings were falling. Companies were forced to make less "intense" shows. Since Scooby's show had action/adventure without extreme violence, his show was perfect for the time. And the formula...

    Favorite character from Beetlejuice cartoon

Thanks for the link, I was glad to see the cartoon again. Actually what resparked my interest in the cartoon, was seeing the movie again last night on abc family. It interesting how different the cartoon was as opposed to the movie. Although Beetlejuice is roughly the same cheatin' loudmouth...

    Contact mode advice

Hi, Thanks for your replys. My T3 isn't working like yours. If I'm looking at an address, then turn the T3 off using the power key and then turn it back on (again using the power key) I go back to the address book NOT the address I was viewing! Is there something in preferences I'm missing? Andy

The problem with Simpsons ending is it can never truly be phased out

No "if". The Simpsons will end one day. Maybe not today. Maybe not next year, but the series will eventually cease production. No TV show stays on forever, and of course there will be always be syndicated reruns. The same can be said about Looney Tunes, The Flintstones, Tom & Jerry, Scooby...

Simpsons Season 1 = Too dated?

You know I noticed that in Season 1, the Simpsons actually feel more realistic as a family. The characters didn't do anything too crazy and it felt like they all had emotional attachment to each other. Homer was the big one, always looking out to make sure his family is happy. I miss things...

    C & C The Simpsons - "I Don't Wanna Know Why The Caged Bird Sings" ( 10/14)

I loved how they played the Dilbert theme with the Dilbert ride in the background. Overall it was a B+ episode.

The Drawn Together Movie: The Movie

... I hope to God it's Spanky. *shot* Eh seriously though, Spanky's alright, but I think I'd only want Toot killed off just so they'd stop making fun of her. :/ The trailer is formatted as if it were a teaser trailer to be played in... theaters. o.o So maybe it's not just for DVD after all? :/...

4Kids TV to Premiere Season 5 of "TMNT" February 9th

A promo for the episodes can be seen in Youtube; I don't know if it's the same one on 4kids.tv--I think it is--but you can check it out here. It's the typical "epic" trailer, but it's nice to see 4Kids at least make the effort. Random fun fact: During a round-table discussion last year, the...

Toon Zone Talkback - Deal Reached for "Simpsons" Voice Cast

Maybe we'd be so lucky to have the network refuse to expand upon the VA's current pay and let the show finally end in peace. If only.

Cartoons Intended For Small Children That You Like Anyway

I'm not talking about shows like Spongebob, Chowder, etc. Because those can be aimed at adults. I'm talking about shows that really only aimed at little kids. Not really any inside jokes.

You can't get more guilty pleasure than Captain Planet. Despite that show being horrible, there's something amusing about it.
