Hades from Disney's hercules. He goes from cool to bursting into flames in anger in two seconds flat. One of my favorite Disney villains.

Music cues used in more than one show?

One of the cues from Evangelion can be heard in another of Gainax's shows, Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi, during the mecha battle in episode 3.

Shows that looked better (or worse) in the intro

X-Men One minute, you were watching action and Good-for-Akom Animation... Then the show itself came on, and BAM! Bad animation and little action happened. Transformers and Thundercats were probably other triumphant examples of this back in the 80's.

    Favorite ?Anti-Christmas? Cartoons

Ed Edd n Eddy's Jingle Jingle Jangle had Eddy deliver a moral about how Christmas is about what's in your heart...only to forget it ten seconds later when he makes off with Santa's goody bag.

The Simpsons Movie: Last 2-D cartoon movie in theaters?

We've already got The Princess and the Frog coming in 2009, there was the opening 12 minutes of Enchanted (if that counts) and a Goofy theatrical short out now, with the possible promise of more shorts on the way, so there's no 'hopefully' about it. Hand-drawn animation isn't going anywhere.

Family Guy - "Extra Large Medium" - Talkback [2/14]

It's funny how they totally stopped caring about the whole "no one in the family understands Stewie except Brian" gimmick and allowed Stewie and Chris to talk to each other as equals. That threw me for a while but I got used to it. Great song, btw.

Simpsons Season 1 = Too dated?

Most of the ingredients that would make the Simpsons great in seasons 2-8 are in place, but nothing's nuanced, and Homer has some evolving to do. The first season episodes definitely interesting from an evolutionary standpoint, though.

    Family Guy - "Quagmire's Dad" - Talkback [5/9]

The Adam West "Watch!" gag again (what is that referencing?) and another Aquaman joke? Come on, Family Guy, you can do better than that. Joe and Peter texting each other was funny though. Who hasn't done that?
