I don't even know what is classed as metalcore myself. I just listen and If I like it then that's it regardless of what genre it is or how cool/uncool it is.

her point.. its just that metal is one of the most popular alternative genres of our generation. why seperating the two is any different to seperating punk and hardcore (which are far more simlar) i dont know...

This is kind of irrelevant, but just something funny I remerabered. My friend was playing Roller Coaster Tycoon, and he was naming all the attractions after banRAB and such. He named all the bathrooms "Korn." heeheehee.
