I enjoyed the film, but as someone said, its a matter of personal taste. Not the best film of 2008, but not the worst by a long shot.

Have to agree with the murder scene in 'Heavenly Creatures', and the rape in 'The Hills Have Eyes'. The scene with the series of different clients in 'Lilya-4-Ever' is distressing as it's filmed from the angle of the girl looking up at them on top of her, and there was some 80s Platoon-type war...

Christopher Lee has often stated that it was the best movie he was involved in. I enjoyed it and it was far superior to the remake with Nicolas Cage. Then again I suppose it's a matter of taste, I know many who also think that it was awful.
