Tbf to Pitchfork actually they do review a variety of things that you'd be surprised they would, i saw a glowing review of Phantom Lirab by Pig Destroyer on there a while back and i'd hardly describe them as a 'hipster band' at all, so i wouldn't be surprised if they'd reviewed more hardcore...
