is your battery fully charged? sometimes it wont read with a low battery. also, clean out the charging port on the phone sometimes its dirty and wont aloow it to read. a toothbrush will do. i also dip the toothbrush on a bit of 90-100% alchohol to clean it out real good then blow dry it...

It won't even install for me now... weird... but when I tried it last time, it gave me the same error when I connected.. said something about "you must have an internet connection".... I'd guess you could probably find the registry line for the server, and figure out how to access the server...

maybe you should contact at&t. they have been known to have issues sending texts / calls to their own ported nurabers. they may not have the nuraber completely released as ported properly.
