Well i had talked to someone who had the dealer do something to make it work out here off alltel's towers and they get service out here apparently, plus i will be moving to somewhere they will get reception. So i just need to know what is a good phone to get now.

6131's can be bought on ebay, and other gsm importers, check the marketplace, they have som good prices there on 6131, word is, the 6126 will not be released on cingular. Ive been hearing they sell the 6126 on Canada now. I think the only operator carrying the 6126 is SunCom

RAM is completely different from the phone's internal memory. It doesn't matter if you fill both the built-in 45mb AND your 2gb card with installed applications, videos, images, mp3's, or whatever else; your 20 or so megs of RAM is only used for running the applications, just like any computer...

i went to linksys website and there wasnt any available driver downloads, there's firmware, but i dunno if that has anything to do with it or not

Improvements would only be minor as there are limitations to a 950mah battery in a phone with this much potential. Perhaps a higher capacity battery where the battery cover door is enlarged for times you just need the juice. I've got a spare 2 days away and for $30 may order another if I feel...
