What rock/metal bands have you seen live

Would have loved to have seen Genesis live, but I somehow feel that i might have missed that boat, unless they decide to tour at least one more time - I really should have gone out to see them in 2007 when they reformed to tour, but alas, who knows if they shall ever "turn it on again" to use a...

"Now and Then, Here and There" On Sci-Fi's Ani-Monday Block - Talkback *SPOILERS*

They edited the scene slightly... I was expecting it too... Part of the scene was for time, but there was certainly part of it that was for content. (You actually see the guys pants slide down.) But yeah. Gruesome.

    Metal Battle

Does metal require anger and power?

Those types of songs tend to come across as jokes when compared to a metal song about kicking some ass or drinking Satan's blood. I think Megadeath should cover the Carpenters... let's see how it pans out.

Code Geass attempt at comedy opinions

Geass has its issues which I could go on about for awhile, but I wouldn't have bought season one if I didn't want it. If you can get past the distractions (i.e. aforementioned comedy) the core story is actually rather good. Almost like an anti-Death Note, in fact, given that Lelouch is actually...

Worst Songs by Good Rock Bands

Yeah. I'm sorry. It was wrong of me to list just that song. Theres many others I could have mentioned too. You know. Since you said you were going to stop the Zep trolling, I was thinking of not bashing Modest Mouse anymore. Oh well, so much for that.

    Greatest Rock Singers

The topic was Greatest Rock Singers. Not Metal/Pop/Country/any of the other 5,000 genres in existance. Those two would be definately at the top of the list.

HEY NOOBS! Want a band or song recommendation? Don't start a new thread post here

I need some more funk, so far all I've got is Funkadelic, Sly & the Family Stone, and George Clinton. And I know about Parliament, but I need a recommendation on which album to start with.

    The Butterfly Effect

It's rare to find a decent mainstream rock band in Australia, but I have just discovered these guys. With great vocals, catchy guitar riRAB and not a massive fanbase, these guys are a great example of Australia's talent in the genre. Check it.

    Funeral for a Friend

Theyre not new. But they are good. Their older stuff had so much more passion though, methinks theyre losing it a li'l bit now. Shame, stuff like Seven Ways To Scream Your Name was great...

Last album you bought or downloaded

That's a great album. Despite what someone else just said here, I think it's another example of why I feel like the most interesting takes on rap are happening outside the US. My most recent purchase was You Think You Really Know Me by Gary Wilson. Weird 70s porno-ish music with an experimental...

Best Songs to sings at Karaoke for men?

Watching people murder I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing gives me teh lulz. Once a 60+ guy with a leather jacket with the collar up and grey gelled hair sang it. It was comedy.
