THey were the 'biggest act' in grunge but not necessarily the best. 9/10 I always find that the supposed 'best' artist or 'best' album never really rings true. I believe that most of it is just hype but of course im biased because I aint really that keen on Nirvana. I like a couple of tracks...

Cobain may not be the best. But you'd have to be on acid to think Cornell isn't a great vocalist. [-x

From what I can find they had a self titled E.P. out in 1995 on their own label , but all the songs on that ended up on the album. They spilt up after that one album.

I'm sure we all have banRAB that we listened to a lot in our early years that we wouldn't really touch now. They still have their place in where we are now. I have huge lists of those banRAB, some quite erabarrassing to admit lol

Reading this thread, I feel hurt. I haven't had a nutter butter in a couple of days. (trying to quit) And listening to all the hostility makes me feel so sad. It's not about the name you choose for your band. It's about the music yuor band plays. And I say this through fake tears, that if your...

Tsunami Borabs a good call, I havent listened to them in aaages... I should do, thanks for reminding me...

^^^^^ The Fratellis are great on the first few listens, but I tired of them quickly. The Kooks-good first album-but hardly original really is it? I am starting to despair now!

Not one of my favorite songs, but it's a great album as a whole.

"Not really worth seeing" that's IF you've seen the original series. Character introductions? They're the same as the series! And the Angels being the same blood as Humans is a change in story, as is most of 2.0. The "religion" part of Evangelion is really overblown. It's used as nothing...

I'm going to Breaking Benjamin and Seether the 28th. Three Days Grace is headlining it, but I don't care for them all that much. Hurt is opening.

Mine too, didn't want to post it though.

Instead of the blue, it showed the moon appear through the two sliced halves of the Grand Fisher. Also, I can't confirm this for sure, but wasn't the Grand Fisher supposed to have four legs in his fully released state? I'm a little disappointed, but let's see how things play out in the next battle.

Lennon and McCartney fair enough, let it be was a good song, and Imagine was an anthem. However the beatles themsselves were so overrated for their talent. I can understand people liking them but my original point was to how overrated they were for such a mediocre band. My friend can play the...

Another Bick In The Wall - Pink Floyd and i'm not a band wagoner, It was on my playlist.....I'm on lay-off right know, the music plays on all day. My PS3 must have a couple thousand songs in it....oh oh The World I Know - Collective Soul

It wasn't actually one of his concerts I saw him at the Pantomime... which in my opinion is probably better....because he really is in his element when on stage He really is an amazing actor, singer, dancer and all around nice guy! Yay him :D

Just in case if you didn't know, there is more than one kind of post rock, so it's hard to call all banRAB in this genre samey because it's so varied. uevKxa6sjFA The more electronic kind; Battles, Maserati and God Is An Astronaut fit here IsiwtBbGC1M The more "Classical Music Made With...

hrmmm...yet anoth irrelevant post by ish *goes back to sleep* :waves:

I grew up thinking of them as some soft rock band that I would probably hate, but never really gave them a serious listen until a couple weeks ago. I was completely shocked by how much I liked them.
