well, i have a lot of respect for rim. they make really strong batteries and a really stable os. bb os definitely isn't as flashy or customizable as android, but i can definitely see why business exec's and stuff use bb's. but android and ios go head-to-head in that they're both more fit for...

I started my Android life with a G1 and used gSyncit to sync my Outlook data through Google to my phone. I've since switched to a Mac, and use Spanning Sync to do the same between my Mac and my N1. I use my gSyncit licence on my work PC to sync my work calendar into my Google account. I'd...

The HTC Mogul maybe? Just install the Touch homescreen and plugins and you're off.

ApolloIM uses EDGE not SMS right?

Alas, no DUN profile support. I do use my Palm and laptop with my E398 every so often for data access in a pinch, even if it's CID dial-up. Also, the Dash seems slightly larger than the Pearl which is already slightly larger (at least wider) than my E398. Need something compact, as I keep the...

Out of curiosity, how is T-Mobile coverage in your area? If they work well where you are, that?s who I?d go with for data service. Check their coverage lookup by address. If you?re in a less populated area, I would go with Verizon. They are more expensive, but Sprint is just so hard to get any...

what we meant by not unlockable was by a hardware or software solution. there are many boxes and flashing utilities out there for all sorts of differnet phone manufacturers that cost $100-500+ and not one can unlock BB5 nokia phones yet. the only way is by requesting an unlock code from the...

I've been told by 3 different users that formatting the card and adding the ringtone/notification/alarm folders while plugged in via USB cable (not MicroSD adapter) fixes the problem.
