I don't really care about 3G.... infact, I don't really care for EDGE too much either.... I'm not on the internet w/ my phone that much.....

The movie made sense to me and I haven't read any book besides goblet of fire. However, I know how horrific it is when a book you love is made into a movie. That being said, this whole movie could have been a footnote in another book. Nothing really happened that advanced the plot of the books.
