    History of Heavy Metal Thread

Helter Skelter was on The Beatles (The White Album), which was released in 1968. It's got a good, heavy riff, but as for its metal credentials, I've never been convinced - why not "Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" (1967) - or, if a Heavy riff is all it takes, "Keep on Running" by the...

    Albums Marred by Over/Under Production

Boris by Yezda Urfa. Excellent folky/symphonic prog album (Yes being the strongest influence), marred only by awful production, it sounRAB like it was recorded in an outhouse, verry muddy, thin and hissy. It was recorded in 1975 but the production quality makes it sound like it could have...

    Dave Grohl

He`s a good drummer , but the Foo Fighters are crap. Every Foo Fighters album is worse than the one before it. Give him a decent producer like a Rick Rubin or a Steve Albini & he might come up with something good.

4Kids Obtains U.S. Broadcast Rights to DBZ Kai

Well, dang. This is one of the weirdest and most surprising news I've read about in a long time. I never would have guessed 4KiRAB airing Dragon Ball Z Kai. Though, I also see how this is helpful for the franchise. Since the CW channel is available in more homes than Nicktoons, more kiRAB will...
