I'm a fan of SOME Star Trek, but fall well short of considering myself a Trekkie, so that video made me giggle a lot. I've seen the new film and it is excellent, the best sci-fi/action film I've seen at the cinema in YEARS, no exaggeration.

Hmmm. I find American music (metal in particular) to be rather bland and boring. That why almost everything I listen to comes from Europe. Mostly Sweden though.

I thought it was alright, nothing else. A bit like Outlaw really but without Danny Dyer! Some of the directing was very good though.

I can't remember exactly the ending of the film, but I don't think it is the Grand. I lived in Brighton for 10 years and its probably been that long since I watched Quadrophenia, but I think that hotel is eastern end (near the marina) of the seafront, where as the Grand is more to the western end.

Been a while since I posted this. Thought I ought to mention there's a region 2 DVD release of The Never Ending Story coming out August this year (2008) unfortunately it is a straight copy of the American release with 2.0 sound and very little extras. Why couldn't Warner Bros wait until next...

For me Gary Oldman's over-the-top performance spoiled what would otherwise have been quite a good film.
