7% Solution - All About Satellites and Spaceships Picked this up off a recommendation from somebody here (can't remeraber who, sorry!). Fantastic it is, great mix of shoegaze, dream pop and psychedelia. First five tracks are absolutely immense and it doesn't go astray. Top marks.

Interpol's a good candidate. They're far from terrible but there's absolutely nothing groundbreaking about their music. It's just... there. People playing music with guitars. Hmm.
