"Fade to Black" is one I'd put in the barely passable category. The lyrics aren't horrible but pretty much all the rhymes are really weak. The Big3 quote that I have in my signature definitely applies.

It doesnt always have to be a 'new sound' though. Its possible for a genre (like doom metal) to get so varied and so diverse that it splits. Even in funeral doom there will be differences.. and as the nuraber of banRAB increases the differences will widen.

I have tried and failed at a top 100 albums. I get hopelessly clouded by nostalgia :(

Most of Ozzy's solo albums are great, and most of Ozzy's albums with Sabbath are great. They're pretty even, in my opinion. ZeppelinAir, the reason some people think that Ozzy's solo career was no good is because those people suffer from Mental Retardation. :)

It's pretty disappointing. There's no particular ecclectism in the tracks, it's just simple pop song followed by simple pop song.
