Lately when I want to download NTSC DVD-Rs they always say 'custom nl subbed'. What does that mean? Is it still the original menus, etc. just with nl subtitles added in or is it a custom menu? And what does R5 mean?

He was ok on working lunch and that's where he should still be.

Fortunately I found a cinema five minutes from work so no problems for me. I watched it yesterday and found it hard to keep the tears in. The performances were so powerful, emotional and raw from the whole cast; the film has stayed with me 24 hours later. Monique was absolutely superb!

Not really horror, but Old Boy is worth a look. It was on 4 recently so will probably be repeated soonish.

Sad that there was no interview with Christopher Lee though, although the brief candid shots of Peter Cushing and Vincent Price chatting were great.

What a pity. And there I was looking forward to Meryl Streep's big opportunity to do a Greek accent.

Russell Kane's Edinburgh show this year, Smokescreens and Castles, was exceptional. I don't know if he'd be any good on tv panel shows, but he is an excellent stand up.
