I'd also consider Pantera being up there, because they own so much.

Obviously hes not as great as those. But experiementation is good, and prefering it over structure isnt a bad thing... Look at Sonic Youth, GoRABpeed You Black Emperor, Captain Beefheart, The Residents, etc.
