Well grunge is a little different from most punk, you're right... More classic rock influence, etc.... But it's more of a movement than a genre anyway, and Nirvana certainly played a very big part in the latter movement, as well as breaking it into the mainstream.. But thats what led to Grunges...

Red Dragon is never in a million years better than Manhunter. I thought Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978) was better than the original, though that is good as well. The Dawn of the Dead remake is much scarier than the original, though the original is funnier.

Iron Man 2 was always going to struggle as a lot was expected of it, following the excellence of the first one. I doubt many people expected that much of the first one, but it turned out to be one of the best films of 2008 & that did not bode well for the 2nd one because it could never live up...

I dnt listen to them that often, but they are quite okay. Their music breaks the monotony...

I'll second the Secret Machines recommendation, if this is your flavor of music.
