    Is it necessary to use screen protector?

    I find screen protector EXTREMELY annoying especially i cant apply it right and air bubbles gets trapped there. so i decided to take it off today. does like ur pants actually scratch the screen? i wont purposely scratch it but does it get those hair line scratches like ipod?
