    Two Generations. One Show.

Yeah, I don't really see what popularity has to do with the topic anyway. Kids are still enjoying the show 11 years later, and that's a fact. You could probably add Batman: TAS to this list too. The show was around for five years...maybe more.

Deleted Scenes that you wish were kept in the film.

Wasn't there a scene where Stitch actually kills Lilo's pet fish? I understand why it would have been cut, but it also would make Stitch's turn around from 'force of nature' to having a conscious seem more significant.

Frederator Studios Presentation - Feb. 2010

Aww, man, they're making a Castlevania movie? Sweet. I'm hyped for that. And of course Samurai Jack. How can you go wrong?

I feel they are. I personally enjoy the cutaways. It doesn't feel as funny without them.

    Disillusioned with Palm desktop

Lee, why should anyone reply if you didn't actually ask a question? It just read like a statement (and a moan!) to me, and that didn't encourage me to reply - it read like you'd already made your mind up. I switched from Palm a couple of years back because it didn't (and still doesn't) offer a...

What's your opinion on the show Wish Kid?

Wouldn't be surprised. not a popular show, you know. Considering what he's done lately, maybe he'll do it for a Ham Sandwich... :zoidberg:

    herbert on family guy

I don't hate Herbert, but he's a one-joke character who is really only good for a few short appearances every so often. Herbert's only source of humor is that he's a homosexual pedophile, and when the same joke is played over and over, people get tired of it. Herbert hasn't evolved any since his...

Can Seth MacFarlane and crew really not write for girls?

To be honest, it seems like most american adult animation can't or refuses to create some well-written female characters. I see the same problem on the Adult Swim comedies, the Comedy Central shows, and the rest of the Fox line-up. I guess producers just assume since the audiences don't have a...

Cartoons with a strong Sci-Fi theme: Are they not appealing?

Why? Seems to me that the Lizard was just another bit of Comic Book Science that was just way ahead of its time :). That being said, sci-fi is a pretty broad term. The creators of Superman always viewed Superman as a science fiction character, and you could easily call Iron Man more of a sci-fi...

Time Travel principles and paradoxes in cartoons

Danny Phantom's The Ultimate Enemy has one or two. I've ranted about the episode a bazillion times, so I'm going to keep it brief. The entire drive of the episode is that the explosion = Phantom. Phantom said it to the point I wanted to punch him in the face, over and over ("You turn into me,"...

In the Japanese dub of the South Park movie, didn't they have Cartman fart just after swearing at the movie theatre clerk?

Can Seth MacFarlane and crew really not write for girls?

You're asking why a male centric show has trouble writing for female characters? Maybe they need to keep writing the way they do to keep their audience. South Park is the same way.
