The thing is, a phone with a T-mobile SIM in it will tell you when it is roaming. The only possible roaming partner here is Cingular, and T-mobile phones can't roam on Cingular here in the Seattle area, but if they did for some reason, then you'd see the alpha tag switch to "Cingular." Cingular...
