bummer. i dont think ive lost any WU so far anyway.
ive also just added another machine, a amd k6-2 500, with 256mb ram. running a little each day. running the genome@home, which is now just folding WU without a deadline, since its a slow machine, and not on alot.
Well, seems he's gone. Guess we'll never discover what that smell is. From what we learned, it is partially made up of a mixture of his own urine, his mother's vaginal juices, hobo semen, and paint fumes. We'll keep exploring the issue...
I assume the windows client is optimized for Intel CPUs by default, and therefor Intel-based rigs don't need many switches.
Running Folding@Home has shown that AMD CPUs are awsome performers, but they need to be cared for, like any race-horse :rolleyes:
