    Thats the problem though, introducing those issues would not have saved the film in any way. Theres a huge problem of the characters not being able to carry a film in my opinion, the books just don't translate.

    a rubbish film. ben stiller was the same he always was, jack black was pointless and RDJ only got a handful of laughs. didnt know whether it was a satire or a comedy with action or an action film with a few laughs. tom cruise's charcater was vaguely amusing but the scene with him at the end...
