I predict a lot of people will disagree with this thread, but anyway, I always enjoyed Digimon's dub dialog a lot. It came off more natural and less stilted than the Japanese dialog; especially the jokes. It probably doesn't hurt that I prefer the English voices so the dialog comes off more...

Even the modern 3D glasses, which use grey polarising filters, darken the image quite a bit, so it is well that they make an effort to brighten it in the first place. Go for the silver screen if you can.
