    Personally I liked Pitch Black, and hopefully they will develop the riddick character a little more in this film as in the first one he had like two dimensions and only hints a deeper story

    Perfect description of the film, imo. Some of the ideas and concepts in it were superb, but most were horribly executed. Favourite bit HAS to be when they are about to play Paper, Scissor, Stone.... :D
