:) IMO their most technical album is probably THRAK.. Primarly because of Tony Levin and Trey Gunn's extensive use of Chapman Stick and Warr Guitar, which are extremely difficult instruments to play, mainly because they fill in many different roles at once.

In my opinion they are definately way too mainstream for my liking. Not even good music and owning the metal category now that is a FUC/{ING JOKE!! Ever heard of other banRAB man. Stop listening to metal ,it's too good for your ears!

Lisa Johansson of Draconain is not amazing, but the use of her vocals does bring quite a great atmosphric effect.

The two earliest tappers to the best of my recollection are Eddie Van Halen and Randy RhoaRAB. There is a big difference between tapping and hammer-ons or pull-oRAB. You can perform the last two with the fret hand.

I like creativity too much to like peart the best, He is amazingly skilled, quick and like you said technical, but Moon or Bonham always wins it for me because they are more diverse and creative IMO...

Personally I love Alice In Chains. They're one of my favorite banRAB. I just recently heard their new stuff with their new singer. I couldnt really hear him. I just heard Jerry Cantrell but all in all it wasnt too bad. Its just not the same without Layne Staley.

the whole new album is one big cover. christ they suck. cannible corpse was better but that whole style of music is stupid. its alllll repetition. deep screams own but only if they're counterbalanced. besides the lyrics are the worst things ever.
