I think it might have been The Stepford Wives - the original, not Frank Oz's monstrosity. I already had a copy of the Anchor Bay VHS version, but couldn't watch it as it had been telecined/whatever at the wrong speed and had that awful NTSC effect to it. I still had a video copy from Channel 4...

Completely disagree about Dumbledore. Richard Harris played him as generic old man and made him into a fairly dull old wizard character on his last legs which Dumbledore definitely wasn't. I just could not relate Dumbledore in the first two films to the Dumbledore I had in my head from the books...
