Defenitly badass, i think you should get Blind Guardian: Live cd as your firse BG cd, its where they really shine. Thier studio stuff is great, its just all thier stuff is soooo good that i cant deciede what is the best. Live covers pretty much everything. Thats awesome your getting into Iced...

**** banRAB, in fact. i don't think they're considered mainstream over here but people certainly listen to them, pretty much perceived as a Radiohead knockoff (and not everybody's familiar with them, either).

You thought wrong then. All their albums were released through Sire, a child label of Warner's. When you think about it, wouldn't have made sense if they got as big as they did on an indie label.
