Same here, it was recommended to me by several people so I bought the DVD and absolutely loved it!! Even though I cried nearly all the way through :cry: Rachel McAdams is gonna go far!

I was a mite disappointed as I didn't think the character development was done well enough for those who hadn't seen the series, and I thought it wasn't as unassumingly funny as the series was. Saying that, I did like it :D

I saw it this afternoon and loved it. As for some of the negative comments and nip-picking, jeez. :rolleyes: People this is a pop-corn film, your meant to just sit back and switch your brain off for 2 hours while watching a visual treat.

While the Gateshead IMAX is Digital its a lot closer to the size of an average 70mm IMAX screen then a traditional cinema. Really enjoyed watching Avatar there (despite the story :)). That Sydney IMAX must look absolutely insane though :eek: :D
