Walgreens and radioshacks have these packs of 4 Energizer NiMH AA batteries with a 15 minute charger for like $30. All ya really need... maybe en extra 4 batteries depending on how many controllers you have.

I played mine for a few days then it got sort of old.. Maybe I just didn't have friends over. Packed everything back into the box and sold it for $500 ish.
