I'm not a fan of low budget films but of the four mentioned, I thought Taken was a brilliant film and District 9 really surprised me in fact its left me wanting more so see what happens when Mr Johnson comes back.

I quite liked Volver. It's not as good as Almodovar's previous films in particular All About My Mother, Talk To Her and Bad Education but Volver's still a good film. Cruz is marvellous in it and it was good to see Almodovar working again with the great Carmen Maura.

I would remake my favorite movie of all time, Metropolis. I would try and maintain most of the elements of the original script including sets and scenes and use totally unknown actors.

The action scenes were good in Tears of the Sun, but the rest was crap. But the action scenes at the end were exaggerated, looks like the Americans HAD to win again.
