That 70's Thread - Anteater's Reviews Of Cool **** You Should Already Have

The thing for me is that the Bee Gees came out with Saturday Night Fever and I think that disco was kind of fading out at that time. When SNF took off, it changed everything - for the worse. While the Bee Gees themselves made some great disco recorRAB, a lot of disco from '78 onward really was...

haha it took ten hours to get five replies. my favorite bowie song is probably rock n roll suicide. but it changes a lot. i never believe people when they say they have a favorite song, its not possible for it to not change. theres too much gangster shit out there.

    Series 7: The Contenders.

I'd really like to see series 6 and series 8, to see where the winner came from and what the producers did when they were left with no contestants. JC

    Fixing Africa

I don't believe that's the case. Although certain gooRAB now produced in the west would certainly be then produced in Africa, imports must in the long run be paid for in exports of equivalent market value. The impact on workers' wages appears to be indeterminant, but the consumer is a clear...

    Vanilla Sky

I think if it made perfect sense to you then the director failed in his desire to have the viewer experience some of the confusion suffered by Tom Cruise's character. ;)

    Possibility of Drinking Age Lowered?

Maybe an historical perspective would help here. When I was approaching 18 yrs old, and of age to go and possibly die in Vietnam, my generation was screaming that our Government believes we're old enough to go and die in a foreign war, yet it doesn't think we're old enough or responsible enough...

Daniel Craig is the new Bond

I hardly think you can base your assessment of his ability to be a good Bond on an iffy photo of him on a boat.

    Help finding a tv movie.

You sure it doesn't mean 3 x 30 = 90 minutes. And I watched the 1954 version in school, they had recorded it off of Channel 4. The DVD came out as well but that was pretty rare to get now the last time I checked. And the fact they changed the Inspector's name from Goole to Poole completely...
