The true mark of a really good film is if you want to see it again. I'd agree with many of the candidates already mentioned above, and add one more. An old film from 1972 with Laurence Olivier and Michael Caine, "Sleuth". One of the best psychological thrillers ever made IMHO.

Yup, that's the one. There was a flurry of films about a young boy's experience of war in the mid-late 80s- Come and See, Empire of the Sun, Hope and Glory and a re-released cut of Ivan's Childhood but Come and See was the best of the bunch (despite my fondness for Andrei Tarkovsky.)

I sit up late to watch this film every time it's shown on TV. Irrespective of how much of it is actually factual, it's a superb film. It's so atmospheric and it leaves me with such a grimy, nasty feeling...

I love it. It oozes atmosphere and wraps me up in it whenever I watch it.

I've never seen Epic Movie but I can imagine it's terrible. Same goes for Date Movie, Disaster Movie and anything else from that sorry franchise. The worst films I've seen are CrossroaRAB and White Chicks.
