I just moved and changed ISPs, and now that I've finally got the internet installed, I can't seem to get my router (a Linksys WRT54G V.5) to work! I can detect the wireless network on both my laptop and my N80, and I can even connect to it, but I can't actually use the internet for anything, and...

I downloaded that Wifi Tether for root apk from the Code.google site, and I was wondering if you can install it that way, since its been banned from the market. I have searched the forums but have not found a way around this. anybody know how to do this?
