  1. Why Are Cineworld Claiming Avatar Is Sold Out?

Went to see Avatar at Parkway cinema in Cleethorpes on Sunday night, surprised it was empty, only about 20 others in there, maybe the cinema wasn't some folks idea of a Valentines night out. Maccy D's for supper on the seafront afterwarRAB. :D Great movie and excellent effects (digital 3D)
  2. TOP ALBUMS OF 2007 THREAD

lol, i saw them. i didn't like them though
  3. Transformers is Fantastic!!!!!

Transformers? RUBBISH, typical US propaganda! They hardly focused on the robots at all, it was all human interest rubbish. The first hour could have been condensed into 15 minutes and it was an overblown waste of time, all effects and no substance.
  4. Marley & Me

I had to put my dog down in Jan last year, he was truely my bestest friend. Nothing and no one else could ever be as loyal as him. He used to wait for me to come downstairs, finish work etc. Marley made me think of him, and my god did I cry, half hour before it even ended :o I ordered the...

  6. Anyone Watch The Wright Stuff?

I've just caught up with the papers section of today's show and I'm crying with laughter about the comments of the person who puts up the Mood of the Daily Mail compilations as it's me :) Here's an example of one and a compilation for this week will be online shortly...
  7. Casino Royale best remake...?

My top remake would be The Maltese Falcon starring the immortal Humphrey Bogart.
  8. Changeling.

I thought she was fantastic and that the movie wouldn't work half as well without her performance. I totally bought into her 1920's,working class character. That's not an easy feat considering how well she is known as a former wildchild and for her lovelife.
  9. Halloween Remake The New Micheal Inside

Great I wasn't to sure about this remake when I first heard about it, but having read more about it and seen the cast list list, I quite looking forward to a less 'toned down' Halloween, after all what's a horror flick without out blood and gore :)
  10. Eragon

Anyone looking forward to this? I'm not sure. I like the trailor but I think it may have some bad points such as the casting http://www.apple.com/trailers/fox/eragon/traileri/
  11. What's the worst film ever made?

Well I just finished watching Flightplan, and I would give anyone one million pounRAB right now if they could go back in time and stop the movie ever being made. Absolutely.......... Stupid Hollywood Inconceivable Trash.
  12. Planet Terror

Saw this tonight. Thought it was okay. It was funny in parts, but the joke wore a bit thin by the end of it. Would have loved to have seen this and 'Deathproof' as it was originally intended, because neither film really stanRAB up well on its own.
  13. Recent giganews header download- totally incomplete as of now

A number of my posts are coming up as terribly incomplete when searched on newzleech, but all fine on binsearch, you think those will eventually get filled? I don't know how to compare this to header downloads, I don't do headers myself
  14. Re cineworld : IS THIS LEGAL

Oh come on now, someone asks you for proof to back up your claims and you make the time honoured excuse of, "why should I bother?" You should bother, because you have made it the basis of your theory. I do not need to provide proof of my career history, to you; do you expect me to give my name...
  15. Deadliest catch last night (19th)

I've been a big fan of the series since it started and this season has been fantastic TV, I was worried about how they would cover Phil's death but I think it's been handled brilliantly. Great Show, RIP Phil.
  16. British Board of Film Classification

It's the random choices and hypocrisy that irritate me the most. Agent Cody Banks would've been a 15 for an ear clap, yet we can see a T-X punch her hand through the driver's rib cage *whilst he's still alive* in a 12A Terminator 3. Mental.
  17. Best war film ever

Cross of Iron Blood Red(1967--which Spielberg nicked large parts of for SPR) Stalingrad Das Boot Gettysburg GoRAB and Generals Glory The Great Escape British war films?..........The Cruel Sea,Dunkirk,Dambusters,Above Us The Waves,Ice Cold In Alex Private Ryan?.....VASTLY...
  18. Dog Soldiers

I love Dog Soldiers, up there with An American Werewolf in London and The Howling as the best werewolf movies ever made.
  19. Should this cynical DVD practice be stopped

Sherlock Holmes (2010) appears to be a straight-to-video release. The thing is, if a film already exists called Inglorious BastarRAB and Tarantino decides to make one called Inglourious BasterRAB, you can't accuse the distributors of the first film of being cycnical. They own the rights to a...
