thermostat could b bad or the heater control valve.........those are the 2 most likely....next would b heater core clogged ...next would b the door mechanism is broke or non-functioning....its either a cable or a vacuum tubing set up.........could also b the control panel is bad........

um check ur oil to start with.......o a oil change....."tune-ups" usually don't include oil changes......
then take it to a competent mechanic(some one who actually knows what they are doing{may have to pay for actual licensed mechanic}not ur friends uncle who works on cars)

urs solder job was shitty.......u either didn't get a good connection or u are grounding out......or u soldered the wrong wires...
this is one of the reasons i tell ppl to twist wires together and test stuff b4 the bother soldering....but o well need to fix it now.....good luck

um the rev meter would b the tachometer........but i assume u meant the rev limiter........and yes u can with software to reprogram the computer......u can also remove the speed limiter and adjust the timing the fuel pattern ect........
well a no power is definitely not the alternator......that may also b bad but that's not the problem.....and yes it sounds like the main fuse under the hood.....also pull the battery out and have it charged/tested.....and then check all the battery cable connections.....at the battery at the...
its a 3/4 tons chevy......they are ok.........but we need more details to give u a decent answer like which engine what u gonna use it for which trans ect......
manual gauge will run u about 15-20 bucks for a cheap one.....and if its leaking at front seal like it sounds like it may b that car isn't building enough pressure due to this....but more than likely motor is worn out.....either pump or rings or bearings are going bad.........

um if u swap in the 360 the comp will need to b reprogrammed..... as well as some of the sensors.......or u can buy a hypertec chip for the vehicle and talk to them about the programming since they offer a lifetime free upgrade......
as for stuff to do to it u can put intake headers free flow...
shield the wires.....sounds like there is a power wire some were close enough to cause feed back.......try opening that door if feed back goes away then u no its the wires run down that side of the car in the door seal....if it doesn't its probably in the door...
