The difference in usability is pretty amazing. There's a ton of new support for laptops, batteries/power management, wireless, and other hardware. There's other improvements like when you try to play a file with a codec you don't have, Synaptic pops up and downloads it for you.

well you're comparing 2 gamecube games, of course they're going to look exactly the same. as far as how the wii will look in it's prime, well it's roughly twice as powerful as the gamecube if you look at the specs, so you will definately notice a graphical edge over the best looking title...
