I think "well" can be defined as "if there was more available did they pick it up?" If something didn't perform well, either it was a poor seller or there's some major right's issue. Usually it's the former. SounRAB kinda like 2010 is a make-or-break for Bandai Ent.'s current business model.

Opeth are death metal with a lot of mellow acoustic parts and as time went by they incoporated influences from prog in general. Melodic death metal (mostly Swedish banRAB as opposed to US death metal banRAB) mixes in clean vocals with the death growl and also offer far more variation on sound...

Well I know that the first Rainbow album was basically Elf with Richie Blackmore on guitar. So I guess they would sound a bit like that without all of Blackmore's ego wankery. Which actually makes them sound more appealing :D

"I don't like Down" would also be an honest opinion. Hell, even "Down sucks" wouldn't be bad. Cussing out the band merabers and calling their fans "junkies" is rather unnecessary.

it's not that i thought the drums were really bad or anything but i never noticed them standing out. if anything i found myself wondering where they were more often than not, then i'd have to focus on trying to find them in the mix. maybe they're more prominent when listening through...
